– EF JOINS SHELSMUSIC – New Album set for April 2010 (Sweden)

We can’t tell you how excited we are about this – as MASSIVE fans of Ef and having wanted to work with them for ages, we’re totally honored to be involved with their next album. If you haven’t already heard Ef, you must do it now. They’ve just wrapped-up recording with producer Magnus Lindberg of Cult of Luna and are set to make their new released through Shelsmusic early next year – you can check out some studio footage on their myspace blog:

More info including UK/European tour dates, coming soon!

– PRETEND JOINS SHELSMUSIC  – Debut Album set for Spring 2010 (Los Angeles)

When LA-based Indie/Jazz rockers Pretend finished work on their debut album earlier this year they decided not to waste any time and set-off on a string of shows across the US over the summer.  We first came across them back in June – and it was the exceptional musicianship and the unique mix of Jazz, Indie and Emo that took our attention… reminiscent of old pumpkins, the bad plus, unwed sailor and more…  their debut album “Bones In the Soil, Rust In The Oil” will take you on an incredible genre-defying journey – expect a limited edition release in early 2010.

here’s what else we have baking in the oven…

– *shels – New album currently in production

We’re about half way through – drums, guitars (clean & heavy) are all recorded now and all that’s left is some bass, vox, trumpets, strings, some special sauce and a few other bits and pieces… and it’ll all be ready to be mixed.

We’re aiming to have the finished master by end of December and with you by around May.

for more info, including studio pics and some videos look us up on Facebook.

– The Ascent of Everest – New album currently in production

Nashville orchestral rockers The Ascent of Everest have started work on their as yet untitled new album. Speaking with the band last week, they sound more excited than ever about the music and can’t wait to share the new album with the world. We should have some news from them soon and once we do, we’ll be sure to share it with you! We are hoping to release the album in Spring of 2010, although a firm date has not yet been set. Keep checking their myspace page for updates!

– Admiral Angry – New EP recorded and set for Early 2010 release

“A Fire To Burn Down The World” has been recorded – we’ve heard it, and it’s the most brutal thing they’ve done to date – it’s in final stages of post production and we should have it ready for release early next year!

Thanks for sending us your music – pretty much everything we’ve received so far has been quiet awesome and a lot of fun to work on – we’ve enjoyed making shit sound as monumental as possible for you and look forward to more!
